A pesar de su diferencia de edad, ambos llegar\u00edan a la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico en la \u00e9poca de su transici\u00f3n a una urbe cosmopolita, con el impulso de perfeccionar una vocaci\u00f3n natural por el dibujo, Carre\u00f1o en la escuela de artes La Esmeralda y en la Escuela Libre de Arte y Publicidad; <em><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Montero<\/span><\/em> en la Academia de San Carlos de la UNAM.
